Andrei Griazin, transfer to Sheba Medical Centre, Tel-Hashomer, Israel

Andrei Griazin, 6 years old, has received treatment in the Nizhny Novgorod Children Regional Clinical Hospital (Russia), but two days after remission was achieved Andrei relapsed again.

Andrei's parents took him to Moscow, to the Federal Scientific Clinical Centre of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Immunology named after Dmitry Rogachev. Two blocks of chemotherapy failed to stop the development of Leukemia,  and the boy was sent home for palliative care.

The parents refused to give up on the life of their child, and  they flew him to  Sheba Medical Centre in Tel-Hashomer, Israel.  Access to one of  the best  medical systems in the world allowed Anrdei to achieve stable remission! Right now doctors are  searching  for a matching  donor for the bone marrow transplant and are monitoring Andrei's condition so he can  be in good shape for the procedure.

On December 28, 2013 Veronika Children Leukemia Foundation transferred $ 4,000 to the Sheba Medical Center  to help  Andrei's  parents pay the bill for his treatment.
